POREČ
Porec is a famous touristic town and harbor, protected from S by a small peninsula. The porec harbor is protected from NE and to some extent from SW and NW but the winds from S and NW create high waves. Bura is blowing very strongly, and in autumn is very strong. Strong sea currents may make maneuvering difficult in the harbor. There is also post office and so many hotels, fuel pumps and shops. Small repairs to hull and engine are available but the largest one is Brodoplast d.o.o. in Split.
Porec is femous with his ruins, of temples of Neptune and Mars, Saint Franjo church, so many museums are also to find there.
